So sorry this bed and breakfast is now closed for an indefinte period.

A warm welcome awaits you at this charming Bed and Breakfast accommodation in one of the most chic and calm parts of the city, with convenient access to the métro and bus (really only 2 minutes). An ideal base for exploring the delights of Paris.

The métro goes to the bottom of the Champs Elysées in 10 minutes (near to Place de la Concorde/the Grand and Petit Palais) via le Trocadéro (Eiffel Tower) and continues on to the well-known department stores - Printemps and Galeries Lafayette and the beautiful Garnier opera house. With one change, the Left Bank area of St. Germain et Notre Dame, or the Louvre and the Marais district, are accessible.

The bus goes to the opera house (Garnier) via the Trocadéro, the top of the Champs Elysées (Arc de Triomphe) and the St. Lazare railway station. On foot, Radio France, the Seine and The Marmottan Museum (housing mainly works of Monet) and the Corbusier (architect) Foundation are 5-15 minutes walk. The Bois de Boulogne, Roland Garros and Parc des Princes are approximately 20 minutes walk away. The Eiffel Tower is 20 minutes metro/walking.

It's also ideal for walking, cycling and boating in the Bois de Boulogne, visiting the Parc de Bagatelle, famous for it's rose garden and, in summer, the open-air Shakespeare theatre of the Pré Catelan

The apartment is on the fifth floor (with elevator) of a modern design building (1950's). It's situated at the end of a cul-de-sac and has a garden but is only 2 minutes away from a typical busy French avenue with bakers, general stores, food shops, hairdressers and cafés.

Your bedroom is light and airy with twin beds which can be adapted to make a double bed, hand basin in the closet and wardrobe with hanging space/shelves. The bedroom overlooks the front garden and the small cul-de-sac so there is no passing traffic. The writing desk, chairs and bedside table are circa. 1890's. The duvets and pillows are made of synthetic materials. Hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities are provided.

The bathroom (with shower) is immediately adjacent. This is shared with your hostess who gives preference to her visitors. Shower gels, shampoo and lotions are provided, also bathrobes are available for stays of 3 nights and over.

The breakfast is served in the living room which overlooks a tree planted garden there is also a balcony, with flowers in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Visitors are welcome to use the living room if they wish. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available as are telephone calls to certain countries. There is no television.

Your hostess is retired (Human Resources/English teacher), plays tennis, skis and pilots small aircraft. She also likes to wander around the streets of Paris and antique markets, visit museums and exhibitions.
